Territory https://www.territoryfoods.com/ is a meal delivery program with a regional presence in Alexandria, Virginia. The food is fresh and comes already prepared, so there is no cooking required on your part. I had been looking for an affordable way for me to get healthy lunches at work. We have tried the box delivery services, and some of those menus really take a lot of time to prepare. I don't want to take up too much time cooking when I could be spending time doing other things. And, left to my own devices, I over fill my plate at buffets or salad bars, or order things not really good for me. When my friend Anna wrote a blog about Territory, I was very excited to research this to see if it would fit my budget and needs.
Territory has a limited home delivery service in the DMV. BUT - they do bulk deliveries to a number of locations, including my CrossFit Iniquus in Crofton, MD!!! So that right there is an easy drive to go pick up my lunches. Territory has a number of different lifestyle meal plans to chose from, or none at all. Paleo, Whole30, Vegan, Mediterranean, and Keto can be used as filters to help you chose the foods you prefer. You may also use filters to exclude certain foods, like shellfish, breads, soy, etc.
Territory packs their foods in to three different sizes, too, to cater to all levels of appetites. The Boost size is the smallest, and is what I chose. Boost costs $9.95 per meal, which is great because I have been spending $11 - $13 on the salad bar downstairs. Next is the Standard size, which costs $12.95 per meal. And finally XL Size, which is $15.95 per meal. I also chose to get 5 lunches a week, one for each day of the work week. Spending $50 a week in lunch is not a bad deal for me at all. You can read more about their pricing here https://www.territoryfoods.com/pricing
Territory also delivers twice a week. You can chose as few or as many meals as you want. Monday's delivery contains meals from M-W. Thursday's delivery is for Th-F. Since I opted for all 5 days, I will pick up Monday and Thursdays at my CrossFit. I wanted to do a little unboxing here for you to see my Boost menu for M-W.
Opening the box you can see all meals fit perfect in this box, and all three are stacked on top of each other. There are no ice packs in these. They are delivered in to a refrigerator at the delivery location. Once you pick them up, it is recommended to get them back in to a fridge or on ice within one hour. Mine are on all-day ice packs from Isolator Fitness in my commuter backpack with built-in lunch box.
Using my Library of Congress library card, this gives you an idea of the size of the Boost meals. It's still a lot of food for some! This first delivery I chose Hearty Chef Salad with Chicken and Egg, Lemongrass Chicken w/Sesame Green Beans, and Creamy Egg Salad over Mixed Greens.
I picked the Hearty Chef Salad to eat first. This is so easy and yummy! Just open up, put the dressing on, and eat! You must provide your own fork :)
Now for the special offer! Because this is my first order, I have an offer to share with you! For a short time, you can get $25 off of your first two orders - total savings of $50!! Just use code CHMG, or by using this link https://www.territoryfoods.com/yum/CHMG You may cancel at any time.
I am very happy with this food and with this service! I hope you enjoy it too!
